Mexico with Friends!!

When your best friends move to Arizona you have to plan a trip to party it up so you can see them!! We had the best time in Rosarito Mexico with our good friends Alissa and Jordan! There were so many favorite moments of this trip and it was just what we all needed. From eating yummy Mexican food, to laughing our heads off playing games, riding horses (or in just MY case a donkey) along the beach, and jamming out to like 5 mariachi bands playing at the same time we had a total blast!

We started the trip off with a day at Seaworld!! I haven’t been to Seaworld since I was little and I forgot how much fun it was! The rollercoasters were actually pretty intense and the shows were a blast!

After our fun day at Seaworld we headed down south to Rosarito Mexico! We took a taxi to our amazing airbnb!! The condo we stayed at was seriously AMAZING! It was huge with the prettiest view of the ocean and a fun pool next to the beach! For some reason there was a cold front in Mexico when we were there, so it was a little chilly! But that didn’t stop us from swimming in the pool and ocean!

The best part of a getaway is eating yummy food and Mexican food is my fave! We ate at this colorful little restaurant twice because it was so good and they had these dessert tamales that were filled with cinnamon that I could totally go for right now. We also stocked up on treats for our condo which is always a must. Vacations are for treats. All the treats 🙂 We also ate at a cabana on the beach which was a blast! The music was blasting and the vibe was lively and fun. There were vendors everywhere making churros on the beach so we definitely had to get some!! Fried dough dipped in sugar is winning to me. Alissa and I also got our virgin Pina Coladas ha ha!! You can’t have a getaway in Mexico without a tropical drink ha ha ha!!

We loved walking down the streets, exploring the little town and relaxing. We also decided to ride horses along the beach. Everyone got a horse… but I got a donkey. A donkey with the determination to prove itself that it could indeed be a horse. I have never ridden a horse before let alone a donkey and It would strut many feet ahead of the group leaving me totally alone and in a state of panic ha ha ha. I swear that thing was going to take off and leave everyone in the dust. It could probably sense my fear. But it was super fun and everyone did such a good job at riding the horses!

This trip to Rosarito was a much needed getaway with our dear friends! My favorite moments were the times when we were just laughing while playing games or dancing around the condo like crazy people and goof balls. I’ll cherish these memories forever. We love Alissa and Jordan so much and can’t wait to plan more trips with them in the future.
